Mario Fabbri started Fabbri Sausage with a simple premise: offer the very best products, great service, and fair prices, and success would naturally follow. He was right.

When Mario first started out his customers were his friends. He knew that his success depended on theirs, so he made sure that the products he sold were the best available and that they were delivered fresh and on time. Mario held on to his vision and built the reputation that is Fabbri Sausage.

Mario began as a “jobber” in Chicago’s Randolph-Fulton St wholesale market area and built his business into a retail store.  He then moved into the wholesale meat business, eventually specializing in the production of Italian Sausage.

The first Fabbri production facility was located on Randolph street, and as the business grew Fabbri moved into a newly renovated, state-of- the-art, U.S.D.A. approved manufacturing plant just around the corner.  This plant has undergone several expansions since then to meet the demand of nationwide distribution.

Today, Fabbri is lead by Ray and Larry Fabbri, each having worked alongside their father for most of their lives, and continue to carry on the family tradition

The business of feeding America is run by people who know and trust one another. This is the cornerstone of our industry.  Fabbri uses Mario’s original business model to this day with the intention of doing business exactly the way Mario started: The best products, at fair prices, delivered fresh and on time.

Over 70 years later Fabbri is still growing.  The Fabbri  R&D department continuously brings new products into the marketplace.  Fabbri offers a full line of stock and custom manufactured products, including Mario’s Original Recipe Italian Sausage.
